Introduction to the Module: Document Center


Module Objective

The purpose of this feature is to allow you to create dynamic documents with a signature option. This highly practical function is useful for both hiring processes and internal signature campaigns. 


The advantage is that your documents will be completed and signed online before being automatically stored in the employee's file. This process even allows for multiple signers!


Signature Process

This module enables you to integrate your existing PDF forms and make them dynamic. With our editor, you can add employee file fields directly into your PDF documents, allowing them to be automatically populated. Most employee file fields are available. 


Once configured, you can send the document to the employee in various ways, allowing them to complete, review, and sign it directly within Cangaroo HR. Once signed, the document is automatically stored in the employee's file within the Document Center. You can also define the signing order for all participants if needed. 


After the document has been signed by all signers, the employee - or another designated recipient based on advanced notification settings - will receive a notification with the signed document and a non-editable PDF summary of the signature proof attached.


Integration with Onboarding, Offboarding, and On-Demand Process Modules

Once you have configured a document, you can include it in your onboarding processes if you have access to the advanced "Employee Arrival" module or the standard "Departure" or "On-Demand" modules. 


If you do not have these modules, you can still send the document to the employee for signature. However, this action is reserved for HR team members.


Pay Statements and Bulk Uploads

The module comes with several other useful features, such as bulk document uploads, integration of your pay statements, T4 and RL1 forms, as well as other options.

A limit of 2,500 signatures per year applies. Additional charges may be incurred if this limit is exceeded.

  • Add an unlimited number of PDF documents to your Document Center
  • Automatically insert an unlimited number of fields into PDF documents
  • Include these actions in your processes (if you have the necessary modules)
  • Send a document for signature
  • Add an unlimited number of signers
  • Launch a signature campaign (annual, monthly, or occasional)
  • Track or delegate signature tracking to specific users
  • Sign and complete a received document from the mobile application
  • Automatically complete document types other than PDFs
  • Not all employee file fields are available (contact us to obtain the complete list of available fields)
