[HR] Create a Document Category

Before starting:


Documents placed in the "Pay Statement" category are always hidden from managers and delegated managers. Only an HR member or the employee can access this category.


An employee with the "HR Member" role has access to all documents in an employee's file without any restrictions. This cannot be modified unless their full access to the document center or the employee's file is revoked.




 On the Web App:

On the Mobile App


1. Click on the gear icon.


2. Click on the "Document Center" module.


3. Click on "Document Categories".


4. Click on "New Document Category". 


5. Fill in the form: 


a) French


b) English


c) Hidden from employees: Documents in this category will not be visible to the employee. 


d) Hidden from managers: Documents in this category will not be visible to managers. 


6. Check the "Active" box.


7. Save.
