![]() | This article requires the following module(s): INTERFACE: LMS |
Before Starting:
![]() | If user synchronization is not enabled in your account, please contact a product expert for assistance. |
When user synchronization is enabled, there is no longer a need to manually create or deactivate users in Lära.
When an employee is created in Cangaroo HR and is not excluded from the training management interface, their user account will automatically be created in Lära.
During employee creation, if you do not check the box "Check this box to exclude this employee from the Learning Management System (LMS) interface," the user will automatically be added to your Lära account. You can then go to Lära to complete their profile and enroll them in training sessions.
![]() | Before creating a user in Lära, Cangaroo will check that no other user already exists in Lära with the same business email address as the one registered in Cangaroo. If a user with this email exists, synchronization will link to that user. Otherwise, a new user will be created. |
![]() | If you have already created the employee while excluding them from the interface, you can go to their employee file, under the "Security and Access" tab, and check the box "Check this box to exclude this employee from the Learning Management System (LMS) interface." Synchronization occurs hourly, and the employee will be visible in your LMS within approximately one hour. |
![]() | A work email is required to create or synchronize a user. |
When you terminate an employee, their account will also be deactivated in the LMS at the same time, provided they are not excluded.
If you activate the interface to Lära while already using this platform, Cangaroo will attempt to associate existing employees by using the professional email address provided in both platforms. If no match is found and the employee is not excluded, Cangaroo will create a new user.
The fields below are transferred from Cangaroo to Lära when creating the user:
