1. Under the “Settings and Features” tab, go to the “Configurations - Interfaces” tab. 2. Select “Learning Management System (LMS).” 3. Click on “Manage API Configuration” to set it up (refer to the table below for more details). 1. In the “API Interface” field, select “Lära”. 2. In the “Authentication Type” field, choose “API Key.” 3. In the “URL” field, enter the URL of your Lära solution followed by “/lmsapi”. Example : https://ENTREPRISE.sviesolutions.com/lmsapi 4. In the “Portal” field, enter your portal ID. This information is available in Lära under the “Portal” tab. Select the portal, go to the “Settings” tab, and find the “API Identifier” field. 5. In the “API Key” field, insert your Lära API key. This information is available in Lära under “Advanced Settings” and “API.” Select the name of an existing application or click “Add API” to create a new one. If your solution requires IP-based access restrictions, please contact a product expert to obtain the appropriate IP address to allow. 6. Save. |
Parameter Descriptions:
Name of Parameter | Description |
Activate automatic transfer to LMS at each hour | When this option is enabled, data synchronization (based on the settings defined below) occurs automatically every hour. Otherwise, you will need to perform a manual sync. |
Synchronize LMS users | When this option is enabled, employees created in Cangaroo HR, and not excluded from the interface, will also be automatically created in the LMS. |
Deactivate LMS Users for Inactive Employees | This option depends on the previous one. When enabled, users in the LMS will automatically be set to "deactivated" if the employee’s status is "terminated" or "inactive." |
Synchronize the formation catalog from LMS to Cangaroo HR | When this option is enabled, the Cangaroo HR training catalog is automatically updated based on the training catalog in the LMS. |
Synchronize User Training from LMS to Cangaroo HR | When this option is enabled, all training completed by users in the LMS is synchronized with their profile in Cangaroo HR. This synchronization happens automatically if the first parameter is checked; otherwise, it must be done manually. |
Synchronize certificate catalog from LMS to Cangaroo HR | When this option is enabled, the Cangaroo HR certification catalog is automatically updated based on the certification catalog in the LMS. |
Synchronize user certifications from LMS to Cangaroo HR | When this option is enabled, all certifications earned by users in the LMS are synchronized with their profile in Cangaroo HR. This synchronization happens automatically if the first parameter is checked; otherwise, it must be done manually. |
Activate Single Sign On(SSO) to LMS | When this option is enabled, employees logged into Cangaroo HR can access their LMS account directly via SSO, without entering additional credentials. |
