Service Users (UDS) are Cangaroo HR users who are not employees of your company. Access for UDS can be controlled through a security profile.
Examples of Service Users (UDS):
An external recruiter
A payroll outsourcing service
An external IT team
Managing UDS Access:
Linking a UDS Account to an Employee:
It's possible to link a UDS account to an employee. By doing so, the employee can log into their employee account and switch to their linked account. Similarly, they can switch back to their employee account. This process is called "Linked UDS". It's not possible to access a linked UDS account from the login page, even if a username has been set.
Access to Non-Linked UDS Accounts:
Only non-linked UDS accounts can access Cangaroo HR from the login page. Additionally, this type of account does not allow switching to an employee file.
In summary, managing Service Users (UDS) in Cangaroo HR allows for access control and linking UDS accounts to employees for greater flexibility, while maintaining necessary security and restrictions for non-linked accounts.
