[HR] Delete (or deactivate) a custom field

Before starting:

The deletion of a field is permanent.

How to disable a field?

 On the Web App: 
On the Mobile App: 

1. Click on the cogwheel.
2. Click on the "Employee File Custom Field Management" module.

3. Click on the pencil icon next to the field you wish to disable.

4. Uncheck the "Is enabled?" box.

5. Save.

How to delete a field?

1. Click on the cogwheel. 

2. Click on the "Employee File Custom Field Management" module.

3. Click on the X icon next to the field you wish to delete.

4. Confirm.

An error message may appear when you try to delete a custom field. If so, check if the field is used in an onboarding form and delete it in the form configuration. Then, follow the steps to delete the field again.
