Introduction to the Time Bank Module

Module Objective

The objective of the Time Bank module is to centralize and automate the management of employee time banks and absences while providing great flexibility in configuring and adjusting balances (in days, hours, or monetary value).

This module integrates time bank data into payroll processes and facilitates the tracking of annual adjustments, transfers between banks, and absence reports.

In short, the module simplifies administrative management related to working hours and absences while ensuring efficient synchronization with other HR tools such as Cangaroo Chrono, EmployeurD™, and Nethris™. .

This module is available in Basic and Advanced versions. If you have access to the Basic version, some actions or configurations may not be available.

To check your module version, go to:
Settings → General Settings → Configuration → Features

Absence Request

An employee (or their manager) can submit an absence request for approval. When submitting a request, the employee must complete the following fields:  Time bank, Request date, Duration, Comment.

The balance of the selected time bank will be automatically updated.

Banked Time Request

An employee (or their manager) can submit a banked time request for approval. When submitting a request, the employee must complete the following fields: Time bank, Request date, Duration, Comment.

The balance of the selected time bank will be automatically updated.

Unlike an absence request, a banked time request increases the balance of the selected time bank.

Automatic Time Bank Balance Updates

The time bank balance is automatically managed based on absence requests and banked time requests.

It is possible to schedule automatic increases on an annual, monthly, weekly, or biweekly basis, as well as bank-to-bank transfers or a full reset at a fixed date.

Additionally, a time bank can be configured to be linked to vacation percentage and payroll schedules, ensuring     automatic calculations and adjustments based on each payroll period.

Balance Synchronization

You can import time bank balances in bulk using our template.

It is also possible to synchronize a time bank balance with the existing balance in Cangaroo Chrono.

Finally, manual balance adjustments are also available.
