Before you start:


The automatic vacation percentage accrual can have a direct impact on your bank balances (if they are calculated based on the vacation percentage). If the employee moves to a different accrual tier during a pay period, the amount added to their bank will not be applied retroactively. You will need to adjust it manually.


The accrual applies to all your companies, divisions, and departments. It is not possible to have different accrual rates by classification. If needed, you can exclude an employee from the automatic accrual.


If you modify an employee's vacation percentage directly in their employee file, it will automatically reset to the percentage assigned to their tier. You must first exclude the employee from the automatic accrual to apply a vacation percentage that does not align with their tier.

The automatic vacation percentage accrual allows the employee's vacation percentage to increase automatically based on their years of service. It is not possible to account for seniority in the automatic accrual calculation.


How to Enable the Automatic Vacation Percentage Accrual by Tier Feature?


 On the WEB App: 

On the Mobile App:

1. Click on the gear icon. 


2. Click on the "Settings and Features" Icon.


3. In the "Texts and Digital" access grid, under the "YES/NO" section, search for and enable "Vacations - Enable Automatic Vacation Percentage Management." .


4. Click on "Save Changes."

Without delay, you must now configure your tiers, otherwise, by the next night, all employees will have a vacation accumulator set to 4% (unless they are excluded from the automatic accrual).



How to Enable the Automatic Vacation Percentage Accrual by Tier Feature?


The percentage accrual is done only by year and based on the employee's years of service.


 On the WEB App: 

On the Mobile App:

1. Click on the gear icon. 

2. Click on the "Time Bank" icon.

3. In the "Automatic Vacation Percentage Adjustment Based on Seniority" section, click on "New."


Start: Enter the first reference year.

End: Enter the end of the reference period.

Target Percentage: Enter the vacation percentage.


4. Repeat for all your accrual tiers. Your last tier, which is your maximum tier, should not have an "End" date.

5. Click on "Save."

The tier configuration screen is also available from the gear icon → Miscellaneous Data Module → Vacation Percentage Tiers.


How to Exclude an Employee from Automatic Accrual?


To exclude an employee from automatic accrual, check the "Excluded from Automatic Modification" box under the "Employment" tab in their file.


You can then specify the correct vacation percentage directly in the employee's file.
