[HR] Cancel (or Delete) an Absence Request with the "Approved" Status

The procedure varies depending on your role (MEM or MHR). Ensure you know your role and follow the correct procedure.


This procedure does not apply to absence requests with the "Completed" status.

I am an employee (MEM), how do I delete (or cancel) one of my absence requests?

 On the Web App

On the Mobile App


1. In the top menu, click on "My Profile" and then on "Absence Request".


2. Use the search bar to locate the request to cancel.


3. Click on the pencil icon to edit the request.


4. Click on "Cancel" at the bottom.


5. Click on "Delete" and "OK".



1. Open the Cangaroo app, click on "Requests" and then on "List".

2. Click ont the request you wish to delete.

3. Click on the trash can icon at the bottom of the screen.



I am an HR member (MHR), how do I delete (or cancel) an absence request?

On the Web App

1. Click on the "HR Management" menu, "Process Management", and select "Time Off Requests (follow up)". 


2. Use the search bar to locate the request to cancel. 


3.  Click on the pencil icon to edit the request.


4. Click on "Cancel" at the bottom.


5. Click on "Delete" and "Ok".


Sorry, this feature is not available on the mobile application.
