Before starting:


It is not possible to use the Chameleon feature on another HR team member or an employee without access to Cangaroo HR.




What is the Chameleon Feature?


The Chameleon feature allows you to use an employee's portal as if you were that employee. 


You can then view and navigate their Cangaroo HR session exactly as they do, with their own access permissions.



 On the Web App

On the Mobile App


1. Simply click on the "Chameleon" button at the top of your screen.


2. Enter the name of an employee or select the employee to impersonate.


3. Provide the reason for using the Chameleon feature.


4. If necessary, add additional justification.


5. Click "Confirm."


Sorry, this feature is not available on the mobile application.


At the top center of the page, the system indicates when the Chameleon feature is activated and shows the name of the employee you are acting as.


The history of Chameleon sessions can be requested by a portal administrator through our support center.


How to Exit Chameleon Mode

After starting a Chameleon session, you can return to your portal by clicking "Exit" at the top of your screen.
